The inductive sensor XS1 M30 is designed for non-contact detection of metal objects, providing a sensing distance of 10mm while ensuring minimal wear on delicate items due to its non-contact operation. With a cylindrical design measuring 30mm in diameter and a 54mm length, this sensor is suitable for flush mounting. Its robust brass casing and M12 connector enhance durability in industrial environments.

Functionality includes a four-wire, NPN output with both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) configurations, operating within a voltage range of 12...24 V DC. The sensor's rated supply voltage features protection against reverse polarity, while its switching frequency can reach up to 1000 Hz. The device is capable of handling a maximum load of 200 mA with overload and short-circuit protection.

Designed to withstand rigorous conditions, the sensor is rated at IP67 according to IEC 60529, making it suitable for a variety of applications from -25°C to 70°C. Shock and vibration resistance are also notable, withstanding up to 50 gn and 25 gn respectively. The sensor is compliant with multiple environmental standards, including RoHS, and carries certifications from UL and CSA.
