Product Description
The XS2 inductive proximity sensor is designed for non-contact detection of metallic objects, effectively minimizing wear and enabling detection of delicate or freshly painted surfaces. With a cylindrical design measuring 30mm in diameter and a length of 70mm, this sensor is fixed and non-flush mountable, ideal for applications in the food and beverage industry.
It features a robust plastic body made from PPS and is equipped with an M12 connector for electrical connection. The sensor operates on a three-wire DC supply and provides a normally open (NO) output with a sensing distance of 22mm. The maximum switching capacity is 200 mA, with overload and short-circuit protection integrated into the design.
Additionally, the XS2 sensor complies with IP67 and IP69K standards for dust and water resistance, ensuring reliability in challenging environments. It can function effectively within a temperature range of -25 to 85 °C and withstands vibrations up to 25 gn.
This device is part of the application-specific series, suitable for pharmaceutical and other regulated industries, and carries certifications from CSA, CCC, and UL.
