Product Description
The XS5 series presents a solution for non-contact detection of metallic objects, thus eliminating wear and enabling the detection of delicate items. This cylindrical sensor, with a diameter of 6.5 mm and a length of 42 mm, is designed for flush mounting and features a stainless steel grade 303 body.
Operating at a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, the sensor incorporates a three-wire configuration with a male M8 connector. It provides an NPN discrete output with a nominal sensing distance of 1.5 mm. The device is capable of switching with a maximum load of 200 mA DC and has a rapid response time with a maximum delay recovery of 0.1 ms.
Additionally, the XS5 sensor is compliant with IP67 standards, ensuring durability in industrial environments. It operates efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -25 to 70 °C, withstanding vibrations of up to 25 gn and shocks of 50 gn. This sensor is marked with CE certification and complies with various environmental regulations, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
