The XS9 inductive proximity sensor offers a non-contact solution for detecting metal objects, minimizing wear and enabling detection of delicate items, including those with fresh paint. With dimensions of 40 mm x 40 mm x 117 mm, this sensor is not intended for flush mounting within metal surfaces.

Constructed with a PBT plastic housing, the sensor incorporates a 5-position turret head that allows for flexible cable entry via a PG 13.5 connection. The two-wire DC design supports a supply voltage range from 12 V to 24 V and is equipped with overload and short-circuit protection. An analogue output signal ranging from 4 mA to 20 mA facilitates integration into various applications.

Engineered to perform in demanding industrial environments, this sensor is fully encapsulated in resin, providing excellent resistance to moisture and dust with an IP67 rating in accordance with IEC 60529.
