Product Description
The XU9 model is part of the XU series of photoelectric sensors designed for various applications including material handling and packaging. This sensor utilizes a cylindrical M18 design and incorporates a polarized reflex detection system, enabling non-contact sensing up to 2 meters with a reflector.
It operates on a rated supply voltage ranging from 24V to 240V AC/DC and features a 3-pin 1/2 inch-20 UNF male connector for electrical connections. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, the sensor is rated IP67, ensuring protection against dust and water. Its dimensions are 18mm in diameter and 82mm in length, with a net weight of 0.095 kg.
Designed to withstand harsh conditions, the XU9 operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and can be stored at temperatures as low as -40°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 25 Hz and features a yellow LED to indicate output state and a red LED for instability.
This product is certified by CE, CSA, and UL, ensuring compliance with international safety standards. The kit includes the sensor and the XUZC50 reflector, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications, particularly in the food and beverage sectors.
