The XU series photoelectric sensor serves as a reliable solution for various sensing applications. Designed with a cylindrical M18 structure, it integrates an M12 connector for a secure electrical connection. This unit operates in a single mode with a thru-beam detection system, achieving a sensing distance of up to 15 m when paired with a compatible transmitter.
With a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, the sensor provides a solid-state output through a three-wire configuration, featuring a PNP discrete output type. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500 Hz and a response time of 1 ms, ensuring quick detection and reliable operation. The device is constructed from metal and is equipped with a PMMA lens, ensuring durability and performance in demanding environments.
The operational temperature range spans from -25°C to 55°C, while it can be stored at temperatures between -40°C and 70°C. This sensor is rated IP65, IP67, and IP69K for ingress protection, making it suitable for harsh conditions.
