The XUB photoelectric sensor is designed for general-purpose applications within the XU range. It employs a single mode function and features a cylindrical design measuring 18 mm in diameter. This sensor utilizes a polarised reflex detection system, requiring a reflector for optimal performance, with a maximum sensing distance of 3 meters.

Equipped with an M12 connector, the sensor maintains a line of sight at 90° to the case axis. It operates on a three-wire DC configuration, providing a discrete PNP output with a normally open (NO) function. The current consumption is 35 mA at no-load, and the device supports a maximum switching frequency of 500 Hz, ensuring rapid response times.

Constructed from durable plastic with a PMMA lens, the sensor is designed to withstand harsh environments, boasting an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It operates effectively within ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to 55 °C, while storage conditions can extend from -40 to 70 °C. The XUB sensor also confirms to various safety and environmental standards, including UL, CSA, and CE certifications, and is compliant with the EU RoHS directive.
