Product Description
The XUSL4E Type 4 Safety Light Curtain operates through a transmitter-receiver mechanism, generating 53 light beams with a protected height of 1060 mm. It is particularly suited for hand protection in environments with hazardous machinery.
With a PFHD reliability of 1.43 x 10⁻⁸, this device ensures a high level of safety compliance. It supports a sensing distance of either 0 to 4 meters or 0 to 12 meters, selectable by wiring, accommodating various operational needs.
The unit is constructed with an aluminum casing and features integral LEDs for local signaling, providing clear status indications. It is equipped with two solid-state PNP safety outputs (OSSDs) and adheres to stringent safety standards, including type 4 compliance per EN/IEC 61496-1 and EN/IEC 61496-2, along with category 4 and performance level PL e as per EN/ISO 13849-1 and EN/IEC 61508.
Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +55°C, the light curtain is designed for both standalone use and integration with appropriate safety control units, thus offering flexibility in deployment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
