This safety position switch operates on a magnet voltage of 230 V AC and integrates a tumbler locking mechanism with a force of 1300 N. The device allows for five different directions of approach and is spring-locked, providing an escape release from the front. Notably, it includes monitoring actuators with two normally closed (NC) contacts and one normally open (NO) contact, as well as a monitoring magnet with the same configuration. It is supplied without the actuator, which can be ordered separately as 3SE5000-0AV0.

Measuring 54 mm in width, 185 mm in length, and 43.5 mm in height, this switch is constructed from uncoated plastic and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, making it suitable for various safety functions. The device supports an ambient temperature range of -25 °C and features a cable entry metric connection. It is compatible with safety communication but does not include a status indication.
