The SIPLUS NET CP 1543-1 is a robust communications processor designed to connect SIMATIC S7-1500 systems with industrial Ethernet. It operates within the temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and features conformal coating for enhanced durability. This device supports multiple communication protocols including TCP/IP, ISO, UDP, and S7 communication, as well as IP broadcasting and multicasting.

The CP 1543-1 also includes advanced security measures such as hardware identification, IP/MAC access lists, and a firewall. It supports SNMPV1/V3 for diagnostics, DHCP for network configuration, FTP client/server functionality, email services, and both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. Additionally, it offers data storage on an SD card within the CPU and time-of-day synchronization via NTP.

Access to the CPU's web server is also provided for convenient management of the device. The SIPLUS NET CP 1543-1 comes with a Gigabit-SS 1XRJ45 interface supporting speeds up to 1000 Mbit, making it an ideal choice for high-speed data transmission in industrial environments.
