The WinCC Flexible 2008 Runtime Upgrade is specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of WinCC Flexible 2004/2005/2007 Runtime systems. This upgrade includes essential features such as Sm@rtAccess, Sm@rtService, and an OPC Server, alongside integrated management for user archives and recipes.

Compatible with Windows operating systems, this software operates on Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise (32/64-bit), as well as Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise (64-bit). It supports a maximum of 16 online/runtime languages and allows for password protection through user groups, ensuring secure access.

Notable functionalities include integrated alarm management and a message system, providing real-time notifications and communication capabilities. The runtime system requires a minimum of 1000 MB main memory and a processor speed of at least 1 GHz to function effectively. Additionally, it integrates with various engineering software, enhancing automation system capabilities.

This upgrade is delivered with a license key stored on a USB flash drive, alongside software and documentation provided on a CD.
