The plastic bases for sizes 00 to 3 are constructed from a single piece of plastic, while size 4 features a metal baseplate along with two ceramic bases.These bases are equipped with stable silver-plated contact springs made from electrolytic copper, ensuring reliability under thermal stress due to the inclusion of highly resilient captive steel springs. Specifically, the size 4 NH fuse-bases accommodate size 4 fuse-links with 8 mm contact blades. A microswitch compatible with NH fuse-links can be integrated, operating at 250VAC/10A and accommodating terminal sizes of 6.3x0.8mm, functioning effectively when a fuse melts or is absent.
