The TBEN-L5-16DXP is a versatile compact multiprotocol I/O module that supports Ethernet connections. It offers 16 universal digital channels, which can be configured as PNP inputs or 2 A outputs. This device is compatible with PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus TCP slave protocols, featuring an integrated Ethernet switch for enhanced connectivity. The module supports speeds of up to 10 Mbps/100 Mbps and is equipped with two M12, 4-pin D-coded Ethernet fieldbus connections. It also offers PROFINET S2 system redundancy for improved reliability. The housing is made from glass fiber reinforced material and has undergone shock and vibration testing. The module's electronics are fully potted, providing robust protection against environmental factors. It comes with IP65, IP67, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The power supply connector is a 7/8 male connector with a 5-pin configuration, ensuring galvanically isolated voltage groups. The module is ATEX Zone 2/22 compliant and features input diagnostics per port as well as output diagnostics per channel. It also allows for two freely selectable digital channels per port and supports programmable ARGEE functionality.
