Automationware S.r.l is an Italian company based in the Venice province. It specializes in developing and producing mechatronic parts and upgrades for high-end robotics solutions. Established in 2002, it has mainly operated in the North East Italian market. In the past two years, AW has formed a network of national and international partners, allowing it to expand its presence to Europe, Asia, and North America. Over the past three years, AW has seen steady growth. It has accelerated the migration from pneumatic technologies—widely used in the Italian food and pharmaceutical industries—to mechatronics and robotics, which are necessary for aseptic production and greater productivity. To keep up with this trend, AW has set medium to long-term objectives, which will allow it to evolve its electric actuators and create new-generation collaborative robots. These couplings will make use of EtherCat FSoE buses and Robot Operating System technologies, integrating AGV or AMR mobile robots for advanced logistics management. AW will also produce linear components such as axes and actuators to complete the supply chain production and logistics.
