NEOBOSS TAPS Kft., formerly BOSS2006 Hungária Kft. until September 19, 2024, is a Hungarian manufacturer of cutting tools, particularly specialized in thread taps and thread formers. Established in Tapolca in 1992 and relocating to Sárospatak in 1995, the company introduced the tool manufacturing sector to the region. As a subsidiary of Poisier Finance et Industrie SA (France) since 2008, NEOBOSS TAPS Kft. collaborates with its German sister company, NEOBOSS GmbH, which has been involved in thread tap sales and product development since 1905, with most production occurring in Sárospatak. The company manufactures tools according to American, Japanese, and European standards, including specialized tools made from powder metallurgical steel, which has become a significant part of its product portfolio. With an annual production capacity of approximately 2,000,000 units, NEOBOSS TAPS Kft. is a leading global manufacturer of thread taps and the sole Hungarian producer of world-class thread taps on such a scale. The company serves major end-users in the automotive, machinery, parts manufacturing, and aerospace industries, upholding quality standards through its MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 quality management system. Currently, it employs 145 people.
