COAFI S.A. is a 100% Argentine family-owned company established in 1948 by Mr. Desiderio and his wife, Berta. Initially, the company focused on textile manufacturing and apparel production under the name Rewetex. During its first three decades, COAFI heavily focused on both domestic and international markets, even receiving the 2nd prize for industrial product export in Argentina in 1972. In 1978, an industrial spinning mill was installed, further boosting growth, driven by the internal market. Towards the end of the 1970s, COAFI absorbed Rewetex's operations, vertically integrating the production process from yarn manufacturing to finished garments. By the early 1990s, COAFI diversified its business to include exclusive representations of automotive brands, road machinery, and minibuses, and also ventured into agro-industrial projects. This extensive diversification has allowed COAFI to maintain a robust business structure over its long history.
