DUWELD, operating as Durmaz İhracat ve İthalat Demir San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., is a prominent Turkish foreign trade company established in 1998. The company specializes in the import and export of various iron and steel products, including box profiles, sheet metal, coil metal, galvanized sheet metal, galvanized wire, and angle bars. DUWELD is also a key supplier of welding consumables, offering a wide range of gas metal arc welding (MIG/MAG) wires like DUW SG2 and DUW SG3, submerged arc welding wires such as DUW S2, DUW S2Mo, and DUW S2Si, flux-cored wires (DUW 71), and stainless steel welding wires (DUW 308, DUW 316). Additionally, DUWELD provides welding machines like MIG/MAG welders and inverter welders, alongside complementary welding products. The company serves industrial clients, focusing on delivering comprehensive solutions for welding and metal fabrication across various sectors including automotive, machine manufacturing, steel construction, furniture production, food machinery, energy, shipbuilding, agricultural machinery, defense, and heavy industry. In 2017, the company decided to invest in the manufacturing industry under the name Durmaz Çelik Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. and completed the construction of a 50,000 m2 factory with a closed area of 15,000 m2 in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, starting full-capacity production in 2019 for galvanized wire, black wire, construction wire, and panel fences, with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons. Most recently, in 2021, DUWELD began producing gas metal arc welding wire for non-alloyed metals at its new facility, now exporting to 15 countries.
