Elex Italia

Established in 2001 following the merger of GGA and Sogeme, Elex Italia is one of the most prominent purchasing groups in the electrical equipment sector in Italy. With a combined turnover of over 1.5 billion euros in 2018 and a total market share of 25%, the consortium's objectives for the future are to boost the competitiveness of its members and foster greater integration between them. The headquarters are located in Assago, just outside of Milan. There, Elex Italia provides services and support such as centralised (electronic) invoicing, bi-monthly promotional offers, website management, e-commerce management of Spesa Elettrica, Big-data analysis, Elex TV in-store television, the centralisation of insurance policies, market analysis and the development of private label products, among other cutting-edge solutions to bolster the competitiveness of its members in the Italian market.
