Empresas PMC

Empresas PMC, founded in 2004, is a leading Venezuelan private group in the sugar and alcohol sector, resulting from the merger of four long-standing sugar production and alcohol distillation companies. With operations across Aragua, Lara, Portuguesa, and Yaracuy states, the company has deep roots in communities like San Mateo, Carora, Papelón, Guanare, and Chivacoa. Beyond sugar and alcohol, Empresas PMC proudly manufactures an expanding range of products, including calorie-free sweeteners and beverages, catering to Venezuelan households and industrial clients with renowned quality. The group comprises five companies that provide trusted products, generate over 1,000 quality jobs, and are committed community members. Historically, it integrates companies like El Palmar (1956), Moliendas Papelón (Molipasa) (1981), Central Carora (1977), and Destilería Yaracuy (1949). Montalar de Venezuela (2017) was established to broaden the consumer product offering and was absorbed by Central El Palmar S.A. in 2023, continuing value-added product activities. Corporate functions such as Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, and Institutional Relations are managed from its Caracas offices.
