Euroengel srl, established in July 1993 as a joint venture with Japan's Sawafuji Electric, is a leading Italian manufacturer of professional mobile refrigeration systems and 12V portable refrigerators. With nearly 30 years of experience, the company specializes in controlled temperature transport solutions, blending innovative Italian design with robust functionality. Initially focused on assembling 12V Engel refrigerators using Sawafuji oscillating compressors, Euroengel quickly evolved, independently developing a fully recyclable 16-liter portable compressor fridge. By the early 2000s, Euroengel pioneered the production of portable refrigerators using rotational molding technology, enhancing solidity and insulation. The company introduced the PICCOLO Splitter cabin air conditioner (PS100, PS3000) in collaboration with La Rude and expanded into professional refrigerated transport with its 140-liter model. Since 2009, Euroengel has exclusively focused on the professional market for food and medical transport, partnering with industry leaders like Eberspächer for international distribution and Ingersoll Rand Thermo King (distributing models as TK ColdCube across EMEA). Its products, including the award-winning Coldtainer mobile refrigerated isothermal containers and the COLDTROLLEY professional funerary refrigerators, are recognized globally. Euroengel's PICCOLO Splitter is also an aftermarket accessory for OEMs such as Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks, with Coldtainer models selected by Mopar for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles brands. The company leverages its expertise to develop advanced air conditioning and refrigeration systems, exporting to over 30 countries and continuously innovating with solutions like autonomous power (AuO) versions for electric vehicles in urban distribution.
