Frautschi S.A.C.I.F.I.A is an Argentinian metal-mechanical company specializing in the design, manufacture, and commercialization of hygienic valves and stainless steel accessories for fluid processes, primarily serving the food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. They offer comprehensive solutions for hygienic engineering, including special projects such as valve dies, CIP central units, pre-assemblies, installations, and automation. Founded in 1960 by Juan Carlos and Oscar Frautschi, the company initially produced nickel-plated bronze accessories for the dairy industry before expanding into stainless steel products and a wider range of industries. In the late 1970s, Frautschi began manufacturing butterfly, check, and piston valves, along with custom work based on client specifications. A collaborative partnership with a German company in 1992 facilitated technology transfer for valves, accessories, and applied engineering for manual, semi-automatic, and automated processes, including CIP systems. Frautschi SACIFIA inaugurated its new manufacturing plant in the Industrial Park of Rafaela in 1996, consolidating commercial, logistics, supply, engineering, and administrative operations.
