Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH

GMH Gruppe SE & Co. KG is a German steel manufacturer and processor specializing in green steel production and metal forging for heavy industries worldwide. Headquartered in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany, the company operates over 15 production sites and serves clients across automotive, energy, railway, aerospace, and mechanical engineering sectors. The group utilizes electric arc furnaces fueled almost entirely by steel scrap to manufacture low-emission crude steel, tool steel, hot-rolled steel bars, and specialized profiles. Its manufacturing capabilities encompass open-die and closed-die forging, iron and steel casting, and precision CNC components such as crankshafts, piston rods, and mandrel bars. In addition to primary steel manufacturing, the firm offers contract manufacturing, custom metal processing, and scrap metal recycling services within a closed-loop circular economy. The company supplies high-nitrogen steel alloys, seamless rolled rings, retaining rings, and metal powders for additive manufacturing applications. Through its circular economy model, the group delivers tailored, ready-to-install components engineered to reduce carbon footprints across global industrial supply chains.
