Hidromac is a consolidated manufacturer in the pumping industry with over six decades of experience, integrating technology, innovation, and quality into its developments. Initially a distributor for Aurora Pump in Colombia, Hidromac began manufacturing centrifugal, boiler feed, and sewage pumps under license in the 1970s. The company expanded its product lines in the 1980s to include 16-inch pumps, mixed-flow irrigation pumps, and WKL multi-stage pumps for aqueducts after being acquired by a KSB and Ferrostaal consortium. Hidromac further innovated in 1997 with the modular AZ/AZF line and became the first regional manufacturer of oil-filled submersible pumps under ABS Pumps license in 1999. Since 2001, Hidromac has served the chemical market with ANSI-compatible pumps, expanded into Split Case pumps for municipal and fire applications, and launched a line of sludge pumps for abrasive and mining sectors.
