Kongamek, originally established as Konga Mekaniska, is a Swedish family-owned manufacturer and distributor specializing in robust material handling products, including a wide array of industrial, commercial, and institutional trolleys and carts. Founded in 1987 by father Stig Haglund, a veteran mechanical workshop CEO, and his enterprising son Paul Haglund, the company began from a kitchen table in Småland. Their early ventures were diverse, but a significant breakthrough came when they secured a contract with mail-order company Ansor Team AB to manufacture a large quantity of trolleys, propelling Konga Mekaniska into rapid growth. From these beginnings, Kongamek has evolved into one of Scandinavia's market leaders, offering Europe's broadest assortment of material handling solutions designed to simplify daily work tasks and improve workplace health globally. Headquartered in Konga, Sweden, with production subsidiaries in Anderstorp and Vietnam, and sales offices in Germany, France, and Norway, Kongamek continues to be managed by Paul's children, Jonathan and Johanna, providing adaptable, durable solutions and comprehensive technical support to its diverse clientele worldwide.
