La Sorgente is an Italian food manufacturer specializing in fresh pasta, gastronomic products, and baked goods, serving both national and international markets. Founded in 1966 by Pietro, Dino, and Gabriele Olivato near Milan, the company established itself as an innovative food production facility in Pessano con Bornago by 1970. This strategic move allowed for an increased factory footprint and the integration of advanced industrial machinery while maintaining artisanal production quality and high-quality raw materials. In the 1980s, La Sorgente diversified its offerings, expanding into gastronomic production and baked sweets. The 1990s saw the next generation, Roberto, Marco, and Andrea Olivato, join the family business, driving further growth and distribution across Italy. To meet growing international demand, particularly across Europe, La Sorgente constructed a second factory in 2012, significantly boosting its production capabilities.
