Macsween of Edinburgh Ltd

Macsween of Edinburgh Ltd is a UK food manufacturer and producer of traditional Scottish haggis, vegetarian haggis, and black pudding based in Loanhead, Edinburgh. Founded in the 1950s as a family butchers shop, the third-generation family firm operates the world's first dedicated haggis production factory. The company manufactures a diverse range of food products including gluten-free haggis certified by Coeliac UK, microwavable haggis, black pudding, white pudding, and specialty sausages. All food products are handcrafted using traditional family recipes with high-quality ingredients and supplied to supermarkets, independent shopkeepers, and direct-to-consumer online buyers across the United Kingdom and Europe. Macsween pioneered vegetarian haggis approved by the Vegetarian Society, offering versatile meal solutions for celebrations like Burns Night as well as everyday recipes. As a landfill-free food producer, the company recycles 100% of its waste at its Edinburgh facility to maintain sustainable manufacturing practices.
