Groupe Rémabec, founded in 1988, is a pivotal Quebec forest industry company, specializing in integrated forest operations, ligneous matter processing, and global wood product sales. As the largest private forestry company in Quebec and the province's second-largest sawmiller, Rémabec manages extensive production territories across Mauricie, Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean, and Côte-Nord. The company operates ten plants involved in sawing, planing, finger-joining, cross-cutting, chipping, and second transformation of hardwood species, and runs several forestry camps including Oriskany, Kawaie, Lisette, Noël, and Brooch.
