Södra Skogsägarna

Södra Skogsägarna is Sweden's largest forest owners' association and an international forest industry group headquartered in Växjö, Sweden. The cooperative processes wood raw material supplied by over 50,000 family forest owners into renewable, climate-smart products for global markets. As a major forest products manufacturer, Södra produces paper pulp, dissolving pulp, cross-laminated timber, sawn timber, and engineered wood building systems. The group also refines industrial side streams to manufacture biofuels, biochemicals, biomaterials, kraft lignin, green electricity, and district heating. Södra operates state-of-the-art pulp mills, sawmills, cross-laminated timber facilities, nurseries, and timber impregnation units across Sweden. Key proprietary ingredient brands include OnceMore for large-scale textile waste recycling and Enriched by Södra for sustainable material traceability. In addition to commercial forest products, Södra provides comprehensive forestry management services, silviculture consulting, and seedling supply to private forest land owners. The organization serves business-to-business industrial clients, retail partners, and private energy consumers across Europe and global export markets.
