United Steel Industries (USI) is a prominent manufacturer of steel bar and wire rod products, primarily serving the civil construction industry in the UAE. Located near the strategically important Port of Fujairah, USI operates a state-of-the-art rolling mill designed in 2005 by Germany's Siemens-VAI (SVAI). The plant boasts a substantial annual capacity of 1.1 million tonnes, producing essential materials like reinforcing bars and wire rods. USI's collaboration with Fujairah Terminals, an Abu Dhabi Ports entity, ensures efficient logistics for its import and export operations. The company focuses on quality assurance and supplies crucial steel products for various construction projects across the region. USI's carbon steel wire rod is produced by a high-speed mill and manufactured equivalent to SAE grades, with available sizes ranging from 5.5 mm to 16.0 mm. They also offer rebar in coils from 8 mm to 16 mm, meeting BS4449:2005, Grade B500B standards.
