In May 2024, WR Transformers opened a new 20,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Tomball, Texas, within the Tomball Business and Technology Park. The company also designs and builds custom transformers, such as a 1400 kVA transformer specifically for tunnel boring machines, highlighting their engineering capabilities. In May 2023, NCP Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in WR Transformers Inc. through NCP Electrical Power LP.
