The Micropilot FMR62B is part of the new generation of 80 GHz radar sensors designed for continuous non-contact level measurement in challenging liquid applications. It excels in environments with high temperatures, high process pressures, and varying media. The sensor features Heartbeat Technology for process monitoring, verification, and diagnostics, enhancing safety and productivity by identifying anomalies. Developed according to IEC 61508 for SIL 2 and SIL 3 applications, it reduces systematic errors through guided SIL-locking, verification, and proof testing. The intuitive operation and wizards simplify commissioning and verifications, while the display provides recommended actions for easier troubleshooting.

With an accuracy of +/-1 mm, the Micropilot FMR62B operates in process temperatures ranging from -196 to +450 °C and can handle process pressures up to 160 bar. It supports various communication protocols including HART, PROFIBUS PA, and PROFINET with Ethernet-APL, and offers Bluetooth® wireless technology for convenient operation via the SmartBlue App. The sensor's main wetted parts are made of 316L or PTFE, ensuring durability in aggressive media applications.
