The IEC contactor is a nonreversing device capable of managing loads in various motor control applications. It is rated for 40A on a 3-pole setup with 3 normally open contacts, and is suitable for three-phase systems operating up to 30HP at 480VAC. The control circuit operates at 48VAC 50/60Hz.
Designed for versatility, the contactor can be mounted on DIN rail or directly on a panel. It supports a wide range of inductive and resistive loads, with an operational voltage of up to 690VAC and a direct current rating of up to 300VDC. The device features robust electrical specifications, including a rated making capacity of 800A at 440V and a rated breaking capacity also at 800A.
In terms of physical dimensions, the contactor measures 122mm in height, 55mm in width, and 120mm in depth, with a net weight of 0.85 kg. The unit includes integrated thermal protection and meets various international standards for safety and reliability, including UL, CSA, and IEC certifications. The contactor also incorporates a built-in auxiliary contact arrangement of one normally open and one normally closed contact.
