The Class 3400 (H34) Smart Meter integrates advanced dual protocol communications, allowing for concurrent interaction with up to two energy monitoring systems. This includes integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS) for energy monitoring, billing programs, and Measurement & Verification (M&V) reporting tools. An optional expanded feature package incorporates built-in load control functions and provides two pulse outputs for kWh and kVARh. Equipped with a 4-line LCD display with backlighting, the meter also supports RS485 and Ethernet communications. The device meets ANSI C12.20 standards and is UL/CUL certified, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. With a compact design, it measures 6.5 inches in width, 7.8 inches in height, and 3.4 inches in depth, weighing 7.77 pounds. The meter operates within a temperature range of -4 °F to 122 °F and accommodates humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing. Designed for commercial and industrial uses, it features three current sensors with split-core technology and offers an accuracy of ±1% from 1% to 100% of the rated load. The Class 3400 is ideal for monitoring electrical usage, providing 38 points of information for effective energy management.
