The S204-C8 miniature circuit breaker provides current limiting protection through its two distinct tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal mechanism for overload and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuits. This model is compatible with various configurations, including 4 poles, and supports a rated operational voltage of 400 V AC according to IEC standards.
It features a rated short-circuit capacity of 6 kA for AC and DC applications, ensuring reliable performance in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The S204-C8 meets the requirements of standards such as IEC/EN 60898-1, IEC/EN 60947-2, and UL 1077, making it suitable for diverse applications. The device's compact design allows it to be mounted on DIN rails TH35-15 or TH35-7.5, with an installation position that can be adjusted as needed.
With a net width of 70 mm and a depth of 69 mm, the circuit breaker can be easily integrated into existing systems. It provides excellent environmental resilience, operating efficiently within a temperature range of -25 to +55 °C and meeting IP20 and IP40 protection ratings. The environmentally friendly design includes a recyclability rate of 80.7%, adhering to EN45555 standards.
Auxiliary contacts can be added to save installation space, and it offers a mechanical endurance of 20,000 cycles. The actuator is a toggle type, facilitating user interaction for manual operation.
