The GF711S fail-safe inductive sensor is designed to ensure the highest level of machine safety in industrial applications. Certified to EN 60947-5-3, IEC 61508, and ISO 13849, this sensor guarantees reliable performance without the need for a special actuator. It seamlessly connects to safety PLCs, safe AS-i modules, or safe evaluation units, making it an ideal choice for factory automation and other industrial environments.
Featuring a PNP electrical design with 2 x OSSD (A1 and A2) output functions, the GF711S offers robust protection with IP65 and IP67 ratings. The sensor operates within a voltage range of 19.2 to 30 V DC and has a maximum current consumption of less than 20 mA. It also includes reverse polarity protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
The GF711S has a threaded housing type with dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 70 mm, making it easy to install in various setups. The sensor's enable zone ranges from 0.5 to 4 mm, with a safe switch-off distance of 6 mm. It operates effectively in ambient temperatures from -25°C to 70°C and can withstand relative air humidity levels of up to 95% briefly and 70% permanently.
With its compliance to IEC 60947-5-2 and IEC 60947-5-3 standards, the GF711S is tested for EMC, shock resistance, and vibration resistance, ensuring durability and longevity. The sensor's safety classification meets ISO 13849-1: 2015 category 2, PL d, and IEC 61508 SIL 2 standards, providing peace of mind for safety-critical applications.
