The Keyence IV3-G500CA is a compact model sensor head designed for high-precision colour detection and autofocus applications. This standard model is equipped with a 1/2.9 inch colour CMOS image receiving element, providing a resolution of 1280 (H) × 960 (V) pixels. The sensor head features an auto focus adjustment and a versatile exposure time range from 12 μs to 9 ms, ensuring optimal performance in various lighting conditions.
With its integrated white LED illumination, the IV3-G500CA offers both pulse and continuous lighting methods, which can be switched as needed. The sensor head is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments, boasting an IP67 enclosure rating and resistance to vibrations and shocks. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of 0 to +50°C and a relative humidity of 35 to 85% RH.
The IV3-G500CA is constructed with a durable zinc die-casting main unit case, an acrylic front cover, and a TPU operation indicator cover. It is lightweight, weighing approximately 75 g without the AI Lighting unit and 225 g with it. This sensor head is compliant with CE Marking, CSA, and UL standards, ensuring it meets rigorous safety and performance criteria.
