The CTAPR500-500-X Compression Connector Tap is engineered for high-strength applications, ensuring premium electrical properties. This connector is suitable for both solid and stranded copper Code conductors and is applicable for tapping between conductors as well as from conductors to ground rods.

It is UL listed per UL486, making it suitable for direct burial in both earth and concrete environments. Additionally, it meets UL 486A-486B standards for wire-to-wire power applications, supporting voltages up to 36kV and temperature ratings of 90°C when used with select crimp tools and dies.

With a maximum copper conductor size of 500 kcmil and a minimum size of 300 kcmil, this connector is part of the StructuredGround™ product segment. The overall dimensions include a length of 27.9 mm (1.1 in), width of 34.5 mm (1.36 in), and height of 74.2 mm (2.92 in). The high conductivity copper construction and blue color code further enhance its visibility and application suitability.
