The Simplex SC-ST/ST-ST 50µm multimode reference cable assembly kit is designed for accurate link loss characterization in fiber-based permanent links. It comprises two simplex standard grade SC to reference grade ST cables (2m each), two simplex standard grade ST to reference grade ST cables (2m each), and two simplex standard grade ST to reference grade ST master cables (2m each). Additionally, the kit includes four ST simplex adapters featuring zirconia ceramic split sleeves and two mandrels (50/125µm).

This assembly is compliant with TIA/EIA-568-B.3 performance requirements and has undergone 100% factory inspection of endface geometry in accordance with Telcordia GR-326-CORE, Issue 3. The fiber type is OM3, with a fiber diameter of 50µm and an outer diameter of 2mm. The connectors are of ST type, with a maximum insertion loss of 0.1 dB and a minimum return loss of 40 dB, ensuring high-quality performance.

The assembly is intended for fixed installations and is flame-resistant, making it suitable for various applications. The overall length of each cable is 2 meters (approximately 6.5 feet), and it features an aqua cable color.
