The Universal Distribution Frame is constructed from mild steel and measures 12 rack units high, suitable for wall mounting in industrial automation applications. It features a gray powder-coated finish and is designed for a maximum load capacity of 250 lbs (113.4 kg). This frame includes pre-installed components such as front and rear rack angles, a 48-port patch panel, a 4U DIN mount bracket, and a maintenance-free UPS with redundant AC to DC power supplies.

Additionally, it is equipped with terminal blocks, wiring for 120 V AC input, and comprehensive cable management solutions. The frame supports the installation of two industrial DIN mount switches and includes provisions for grounding, two fiber spools, and a back panel. It also features two ESD ports, cage nuts, labeling for cable routing, and strain relief bars.

This enclosure meets UL 508A standards for industrial control panels and is cUL listed per CSA, with NEMA rating 4 and IP66 protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The design facilitates optimal equipment mounting with installed front and rear cage nut rails positioned for ease of use. The frame also accommodates an optional air conditioner, ensuring versatility in deployment.
