The electromechanical vacuum switch 9016G is designed for sensitive control applications, featuring SPDT, form Z, snap action contacts with normally closed and normally open configurations. It operates at a maximum pressure of 100 psi and offers an approximate differential range of 0.8InHg to 9InHg at minimum settings, with an adjustable differential in the midrange of 1.3InHg to 7.4InHg. The device measures 4.56 inches in both width and depth, and 6.45 inches in height, with a total weight of 4.6 lbs.
This switch is equipped with screw clamp terminals for electrical connections, and a 0.25 inch 18 NPTF port for fluid connections. The diaphragm actuator allows operation from any position, enhancing versatility. Constructed from die-cast aluminum alloy 380, this device supports a mechanical life of approximately 5 million cycles. It meets NEMA 4/4X/13 standards and is certified by UL and CSA, adhering to UL 508 standards.
With a maximum operating rate of 120 cycles per minute, the vacuum switch is suitable for applications including pressure control in water pumps, compressors, irrigation systems, molding presses, and various machining equipment. Local signaling is not included, and it features a cable entry of 0.5 inch NPT conduit. The materials used in contact with fluids include nitrile (Buna-N), ensuring compatibility with air, water, hydraulic oil, and gas within a temperature range of -40 to 250 °F.
