Part of the Modicon M340 series, this communication module supports the integration of M580 and M340 platforms for RTU protocol communication with RTU stations. It operates with a current consumption of 95 mA at 24 V DC and utilizes an internal power supply.

This module is suited for harsh environments, functioning within an extended temperature range from -25°C to +70°C. Connectivity options include Ethernet RJ45 at 10/100 Mbps and serial RS232/485 RJ45 with data rates of 300/38400 bps, equipped with a twisted pair transparent class C30 for optimal integration. The device is rated IP20 and weighs 0.2 kg, making it appropriate for both standard and severe application scenarios.

Certification includes CE and UL, meeting standards such as UL 508, EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2, and EN 61010-2-201. The module is supplied with a flash SD memory card (BMXRWS128MWF) with a capacity of 128,000 kB, occupying one slot in the rack.
