The TeSys D contactors are designed for seamless integration into control systems. These versatile contactors can be used in a wide range of applications, from small to large motor starters.
TeSys D contactors come in 13 different ratings, suitable for inductive motors up to 150 full-load amps and resistive loads up to 200 amps. This specific model is a 12A inductive 3 pole IEC contactor, ideal for mounting on DIN rail or directly on panels.
The contactor offers both Horsepower and Kw motor ratings for international acceptance. It is rated for 3HP at 200-208VAC, 3HP at 240VAC, 7.5HP at 480VAC, and 10HP at 600VAC three phase. For single phase applications, it is rated for 0.5HP at 115VAC and 2HP at 240VAC.
When used with a 480VAC up to 35A circuit breaker, the contactor can handle a SCCR up to 85kA. When used with a 600VAC 30A Class J or CC fuse, it can handle a SCCR up to 100kA.
This contactor comes with a 208 VAC 50/60 Hz coil and includes one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact as standard. The NC contact is mirror certified. Screw clamp terminals are used for load and auxiliary connections.
The contactor measures 3.03 inches in height, 1.77 inches in width, and 3.39 inches in depth, weighing 0.72 lbs. It is certified to UL, CSA, IEC, CCC, EAC, and Marine standards, and meets the requirements of RoHS/REACh, making it a Green Premium product.
