The TeSys U control and diagnostic unit is engineered for installation within advanced power bases such as LUB120, LUB320, and LUB380, forming a complete starter controller for three-phase motor applications. It effectively protects motors with a rated current adjustment range of 1.25 to 5A, offering overload tripping class 10 and safeguards against short circuits, phase loss, and insulation faults.

This unit is compatible with a control circuit voltage of 48V AC or 48-72V DC. It features a thermal overload alarm, which can be managed using an additional function module available separately, and includes a test push button for overload simulation. The device operates efficiently in ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C and meets multiple certification standards including IEC, UL, and CSA when paired with an appropriate power base.

In terms of physical specifications, the unit measures 66mm in height, 45mm in width, and 60mm in depth. It is equipped with a manual reset and utilizes a plug-in front face for fixing. For operational integrity, it maintains a rated insulation voltage of 690V and complies with various immunity and resistance standards, ensuring reliable performance in diverse environments.
