The ERMS (Energy Reduction Maintenance Settings) digital module enhances the functionality of the Micrologic X trip unit within the MasterPact MTZ circuit breaker series. This module enables users to modify LSIG protection settings, allowing for quicker trip responses during arc flash events. The ERMS feature can be easily activated or deactivated via a smartphone application or an external lockable selector switch that requires an additional ESM hardware module.

When engaged, the Micrologic X HMI displays a blue backlight, and an illuminated ERMS LED provides clear visual confirmation of the status from a distance. This module is compatible with various MasterPact MTZ circuit breakers, including MTZ1, MTZ2, and MTZ3, as well as multiple MicroLogic control units, ensuring broad applicability across different setups. The integration of EcoStruxure Power Commission software allows for seamless uploading of the module without power interruptions, ensuring continuous operation during maintenance.
