The XS4 M30 inductive proximity sensor is designed for contactless detection of metal objects, providing significant advantages such as reduced wear and the ability to detect delicate or freshly painted surfaces. With a cylindrical design, this sensor has a diameter of 30mm and is not suitable for flush mounting. It features an M30 x 1.5 threaded body and is equipped with a plastic enclosure for durability.

Operating within a voltage range of 24 to 240V AC/DC, the sensor supports a two-wire configuration and provides a normally open (NO) output signal. The sensing distance is rated at 15mm, with an operational zone extending to 12mm. This product is encapsulated in resin, ensuring excellent resistance to harsh industrial environments.

With an IP67 rating according to IEC 60529, the sensor is capable of functioning in challenging conditions, including extreme temperature variations from -25°C to 70°C. It also features a status LED indicating output state, and is certified by ECOLAB among other standards.
