The XS4 M30 is an inductive proximity sensor that facilitates the detection of metallic objects without physical contact, thereby preventing wear and enabling the detection of delicate or freshly painted surfaces. This cylindrical sensor, with a diameter of 30mm and a threaded length of 34mm, is not flush mountable and is housed in a durable PPS enclosure.

Operating within a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, it features a four-wire configuration with a male M12 connector and offers both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) PNP discrete output functions. The nominal sensing distance is 15mm, with a maximum operating zone extending to 12mm. It also supports a switching frequency of up to 1000 Hz and has a maximum delay response of 0.3 ms.

This sensor is rated IP67, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress, which is crucial for reliable operation in industrial environments.
