The photoelectric sensor XUX features a compact design utilizing a polarised reflex detection system, housed in a high-strength VALOX® PBT enclosure. This sensor is capable of operating within a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC, ensuring compatibility with various systems.

Constructed with a durable painted aluminium and polyamide body, the sensor is intended for surface or bracket mounting due to its four fixing points. It is well-suited for high-temperature environments, with an operational temperature range from -25°C to +55°C, and is designed to endure harsh conditions, as indicated by its IP65 and IP67 protection ratings.

The sensor includes a PMMA lens that is resistant to scratching, enhancing the device's longevity. Troubleshooting is facilitated through a dual LED display that indicates sensor status and beam stability. Additionally, it features double insulation to improve safety against electrical shocks, and it is certified by CSA and UL, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

For electrical connections, the sensor utilizes screw-clamp terminals compatible with various wire sizes, supporting a discrete PNP output with a maximum sensing distance of 15 m when used with the appropriate reflector. It is designed for high durability, rated for 500,000 cycles at specified conditions.
