The complete beacon serves as a vital lighting accessory for tower lights, utilizing a flash discharge tube to produce a strobe light. This feature enables clear status indication for machinery in various applications including automotive, machine tools, material handling, packaging, assembly stations, and conveyors.
With an IP65 rating on the fixing base and IP66 on the base unit, this beacon is designed to withstand harsh conditions, making it suitable for environments that are impact, dust, water, and vibration resistant. Its construction includes a base unit made of glass reinforced polyamide and an illuminated unit crafted from polycarbonate, ensuring durability.
Operating at a nominal voltage of 120 V AC and a flash energy of 10 joules, it maintains a flashing frequency of 1 Hz with a current consumption of less than 290 mA AC. The beacon measures 70 mm in diameter and has a total height of 232 mm. The device complies with the standards EN/IEC 60947-5-1 and has received several certifications, including CCC, EAC, and UL 508, ensuring reliability and safety in operation.
