The Sick UE48-2OS2D2 Safety Relay is designed to ensure the highest level of machine safety in industrial applications. This advanced safety relay is compliant with SIL 3 (IEC 61508) and Category 4 (EN ISO 13849) standards, providing robust and reliable safety functions. It features multiple input and output circuits, including S11, S21, S33 for control voltage and S12, S22, S31, S34, S35 for input circuits, ensuring versatile connectivity options.
With a performance level of PL e (EN ISO 13849) and a B10d parameter of up to 1 x 107 switching cycles, this safety relay guarantees long-lasting and dependable operation. The UE48-2OS2D2 also boasts a low mean probability of a dangerous failure per hour (PFHD) of 3.0 x 10-8, making it a highly reliable choice for critical safety applications.
Additional features include a voltage supply of 24 V AC/DC, a rated insulation voltage of 300 V AC, and a test voltage of 2 kV (50 Hz) as per EN 60439-1. The relay is equipped with electronic fuse short-circuit protection and galvanized decoupling between A1, A2, and S11, S21, S33. It supports both manual and automatic reset options with respective reset times of ≤ 40 ms and ≤ 80 ms.
The UE48-2OS2D2 is designed for high switching frequencies of up to 3600/h and features a mechanical life of 1 x 107 switching cycles and an electrical life of 2 x 106 switching cycles.
