The SMC AW40-F04DH-R-A Modular Type Filter Regulator is designed for optimal performance in compressed air systems. This advanced filter regulator combines the element and bowl into a single unit, allowing for easy replacement and reducing maintenance time. The regulator is engineered to minimize pressure drop by up to 50%, contributing to significant energy savings. Additionally, the compact design reduces the required maintenance space by up to 46%, making it ideal for installations with limited space.

The AW40-F04DH-R-A features a transparent bowl guard for better visibility and safety. The float type auto drain (N.O.) ensures efficient removal of condensate, and the unit is equipped with a set nut for panel fitting. The pressure gauge is omitted in this model, but the unit includes a drain cock and a relieving type exhaust mechanism. The flow direction is from right to left, and the name plate, caution plate for the bowl, and pressure gauge are provided in imperial units (MPa).

This filter regulator is part of the AW10-AW40-A series, known for its modular design and ease of maintenance. It is suitable for various industrial applications where reliable air filtration and regulation are critical. The product will be discontinued in September 2025, with the AW20-AW40-D series as the recommended replacement.
